The Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall is dedicated to honoring those Texans who sacrificed their lives fighting the War on Terror. For over a decade, we have hosted the Texas Fallen Heroes High School Fishing Tournament for high school students and their families to honor and remember the Texas Fallen Heroes.
The Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall was first created by Mr. Carson George after his son, US Marine LCPL Phillip George, 22, was killed on August 18, 2005 during Operation Enduring Freedom.
In 2008 Mr. George completed the Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall, which honors and remembers the Texans who have sacrificed their lives fighting the war on terror since September 11, 2001. The wall is made up of clay tiles with the picture and name of each Fallen Hero. The Outdoor Freedom Network has taken over the care and display of the wall following Mr. George’s passing. Currently the wall is displayed at the Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial High School Bass Tournament at Jackson Hill Marina.
